Christianity is
based on the life, teachings, death, and resurrection
of Jesus, an incarnation of God. Its book is The
Bible New Testament. Jesus said "Love one another,
love your neighbor as yourself, I am come that you
may have life, and have it more abundantly." |

Judaism is
based on the prophets, especially Moses. Its book
is The Bible Old Testament. Moses brought his people,
the Jews, out of slavery in Egypt, he brought the
10 Commandments from God, and said "Love the Lord
God with all thy might, you shall have no other God
before Him." |

Hinduism is based
on the teachings of God and enlightened sages. Its
books include The Bhagavad-Gita and The Upanishads.
In The Gita Krishna (God) says "The truly wise mourn
neither for the living nor the dead," the Chandogya
Upanishad states "That Art Thou." |

based on the personal realization of prince Siddhartha
who became known as The Buddha. Its book is The Dhammapada.
The Buddha taught the middle way and said "I am awake
and you are not," his last statement was "Work out
your own salvation diligently." |

based on the teachings conveyed from God to the Prophet
Mohammed. Its book is The Koran. Mohammed taught
morality, goodness and mercy. He opposed idol worship
